Timber Decking for Pallet Racking

NBM manufactures a range of timber decking designed for pallet racking installations in warehouses and distribution centres. Kiln dried timber is predominantly sourced from the Scandinavian and Russian soft wood market and then processed through the company’s wood machining facilities to provide customers with a choice of finishes from fine sawn, planed, or tongue and grooved. NBM also offers its customers the facility of having timber pressure treated for external purposes using Tanalith 'E'.

We also have the facility to offer Fire Retardant treatment to the timber which is occasionally specified by Insurance companies.

With comprehensive loading charts, NBM offers its customers expert advice on the timber thicknesses required for any installation.

Timber Pallets

NBM manufactures a vast array of both Two and Four way entry pallets for some of the largest companies in the country. With highly automated production lines, all pallets are manufactured to individual customer requirements. Pallets can be branded or sprayed for identification purposes and cornered for ease of use for shrink wrapping machines.

As a member of the UK wood marking programme, NBM offers all its' customers pallets and wood packaging products which are heat treated to comply with ISPM 15 for export purposes.

With the increased demand for pallets to be kiln-dried as well as heat treated for export, NBM has invested heavily by installing two large kilns to satisfy customer requirements. Always conscious of its impact on the environment, NBM uses its off-cut material to power the kilning process.

A-Frames

A tried and tested method of safely transporting sheets of glass and windscreens.

With its flexible manufacturing capabilities, NBM has assisted its customers in making several large and unusual sized A-Frame Pallets at very short notice.

Sheet Materials

NBM also has the machining facilities to cut sheet materials to size, so any long-span style installations which require chipboard shelving can be accommodated.

The company also cuts Plywood, MDF and other sheet materials for pallet tops or lids which are used in a variety of applications.
